According to the report of Public relations of IMIDRO, Sangan pelletizing plant has new technology in energy consumption reduction. Also it has 5 million tonnes production capacity per year.
The plant was constructed in a 36 month period with investment of 103 million euros.
Based on the report, the total weight of the equipment and metal frames is 23 thousand and 450 tonnes.
Employment rate at construction and operation phases were 2000 and 1300 persons respectively.
Sangan pelletizing plant was one of the IMIDRO’s stagnant projects which was reactivated in second half of Iranian year 1392(ended March 2014).
According to plans, Opal Parsian pelletizing Plant with annual production capacity of 5 million tonnes is going to be launched as well.
