Tehran, May18, IMIDRO_IMIDRO in line with its social responsibility role and in order to supply water for industries in west part of Bandar Abbas will perform Bandar Abbas wastewater treatment plant transmission project, Gharibpour said.
According to the report of Public Relations of IMIDRO, in this project urban wastewater of Bandar Abbas will be refined and transmitted to the Persian Gulf Special Economic Zone for desalination in order to supply water for industries in west part of Bandar Abbas, chairman of the board of IMIDRO announced.
Some factors such as realization of 10 million tones production capacity construction and investment growth in Persian Gulf Special Economic Zone will accelerate the implementation of this project, he added.
Deputy Minister of Industry, Mine and Trade continued: “The water supply capacity of this project is 85000 cubic meters per day. Also, the considered transmission line is 22 kilometers”.
By operation of water desalination plant, the other branches will be cut off and industries only use the wastewater, Gharibpour said.
He noted that Bandar Abbas’ environmental problems will be solved by the project and water will come back to the production cycle. Indeed, Persian Gulf Special Economic Zone will be the water supplier of west of Bandar Abbas.
Project consulter is selected and Persian Gulf Special Economic Zone presented the proposal to IMIDRO. So, project contract will be signed by investor and then executive operations will be started in next months.
