Foreign firms increasingly look for investment in Iran's mines
(IMIDRO) - Foreign firms increasingly look for investment opportunities in Iran's mine and mining industries sector, announced deputy minister of Industry, Mine and Trade, Mehdi Karbasian in the annual meeting of executives of IMIDRO.
Karbasian who is also Chairman of Iranian Mines and Mining Industries Development and Renovation Organization (IMIDRO) said 37 prominent foreign firms expressed readiness for various kind of cooperation in mine and mining industries sector since summer and demands in this regard are continuing and on the rise.
He indicated that encouraging return of Iranian capital abroad is one of government policy with positive perspective considering back of supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and available capacities.
Chairman of IMIDRO described development in the country as one the main targets of the organization and said Iran could be member of G20 with capabilities in areas such as natural resources, strategic position and more importantly skilled man power.
