According to the report of public relations of IMIDRO,10 major Iranian mining companies produced an aggregate of 46,778,917 tons of iron ore concentrates in the first 11 months of the last Iranian calendar year (March 21, 2023-February 19,2024) while the figure was 42,936,511 tons during the same period of the year before.
Gol_e_Gohar Mining and Industrial Complex accounted for 10,719,281 tons of the total output, followed by Chadormalu Mining and Industrial Complex with 9,878,447 tons, Goharzamin Iron Ore Company with 7,967,346 tons, Middle East Mines and Mining Industries Development Holding Company with 4,517,989 tons, Sangan Mining Industries Company with 3,631,789 tons, Iran Central Iron Ore Company with 3,563,895 tons, Sanabad Development Company with 2,410,303 tons, Opal Parsian Sangan with 2,370,211 tons, Saba Nour Mining and Industrial Development Company with 1,312,561 tons and Jalalabad Iron ore Company with 407,095 tons.
Pellet output up 16 percent
During the period under review, pellet production of 9 major Iranian mining companies stood at 35,871,695 tons, registering 16 percent growth y/y.
Gol_e_Gohar Mining and Industrial Complex accounted for 11,170,075 tons of the total pellet output in the first 11 months of the last Iranian calendar year (March 21, 2023-February 19,2024) followed by Middle East Mines and Mining Industries Development Holding Company with 4,880,702 tons, Goharzamin Iron Ore Company with 4,866,345 tons, Chadormalu Mining and Industrial Complex with 3,573,975 tons, Iran Central Iron Ore Company with 3,539,692 tons, Sangan Mining Industries Company with 3,470,484 tons, Opal Parsian Sangan with 2,700,463 tons, Sanabad Development Company with 1,323,466 tons and Saba Nour company with 346,493 tons.
