Iran Exported Over 9.6 MT Steel in 11 Months

According to the report of public relations of IMIDRO, Iran exported an aggregated of 6,642,000 tons of steel ingots during the first eleven months of the current Iranian calendar year(March21-2021, February 21, 2022), registering 19 percent growth compared with corresponding period of the last year.

During the mentioned period, Iran exported about 3,010,000 tons of steel products showing a 14 percent growth YOY.

Likewise, Country’s DRI export stood at 985,000 tons during the first 11 months of the current Iranian Year (March21-2021, February 21, 2022),up 20 percent compared with the corresponding period of the last year.

During the period under review, Iran imported 5,000 tons of steel (without change compared with the corresponding period of the last year) and 650,000 tons of steel products (up 23 percent compared with the same period of the past year).
