Iron Ore Concentrate Production Increased

According to the report of Public Relations of IMIDRO, Iron ore concentrate production of 10 major Iranian mining companies produced an aggregate of 42,509,905 tons of iron ore concentrate during the first ten months of the current Iranian year (March 21,2023-January 20, 2024), indicating a 7 percent growth compared to the same period of the previous year.

During the period under review, Gol_e_Gohar Mining and Industrial Complex had the lion’s share with 9,750,466 tons of the total output, followed by Chadormalu Mining and Industrial Complex with 8,973,453 tons, Goharzamin Iron Ore Company with 7,312,018 tons, Middle East Mines and Mining Industries Development Holding Company with 4,090,275 tons, Sangan Mining Industries Company with 3,286,249 tons, Iran Central Iron Ore Company with 3,227,838 tons, Sanabad Development Company with 2,188,805 tons, Opal Parsian Sangan with 2,121,888 tons, Saba Nour Mining and Industrial Development Company with 1,191,739 tons and Jalalabad Iron ore Company with 367,174 tons.

Pellet Production Rises 11 % in 10 Months on Year

Pellet production of major Iranian iron ore companies stood at 32, 842,687 tons during the first ten months of the current Iranian calendar year (March21,2023- January20, 2024), registering 11 percent growth YOY.

During this period, Gol-e-Gohar Mining and Industrial Complex had the biggest share with 10,070,786 tons of pellet production, followed by Middle East Mines and Mining Industries Development Company with 4,517,366 tons, Goharzamin Company with 4,394,913 tons, Chadormalu Mining and Industrial Company with 3,341,950 tons, Sangan Iron Ore Complex with 3,255,350 tons, Central Iron Ore Complex with 3,287,581 tons, Opal Parsian Sangan with 2,446,896 tons, Sanabad Mining and Industrial Development Company with 1,181,352 tons and Saba Nour Company with 346,493 tons.
