Tehran, April21, IMIDRO_ Iran’s crude Steel production during the last Iranian calendar year (ended March19,2024) passed 32 million tons.
According to the report of public relations of IMIDRO, Iran’s crude Steel production stood at 32,108,000 tons during the last Iranian calendar year (ended March19,2024), up 5.5 percent y/y.
Likewise, Iranian steelmakers during the period under review, produced 21,585,000 tons of Steel products, registering a slight decrease (0.05 percent) year on year.
DRI & Pellet production
Iran produced an aggregate of 90,134,000 tons of pellets and DRI during the last Iranian calendar year (ended March19,2024). During this period, pellet output stood at 56,738,000 tons registering 4.1 percent rise while DRI Production stood at 33,396,000 tons by 5.3 percent growth.
