PPI for Mine Sector Fell as Mineral Prices Reduced

According to the report of the public relations of IMIDRO, the latest report of Statistical Centre of Iran shows that maximum share of PPI decrease for mine sector in spring2015 compared to the winter2015 belonged to the metallic minerals. During the foresaid period price index of metallic minerals fell4.7 percent as reduction of exploitation of iron ore. According to this report PPI for lead and zinc and also gold ore fell 19.9 and 15.1 percent respectively as decrease in price of these minerals. Statistical Centre of Iran reported that PPI for total mining sector increased 18.7 percent during the same period last year.
