Major Iranian Mining Companies Produced 28.6 MT iron ore Concentrate
Tehran, Nov26, IMIDRO_ iron ore concentrate production of major Iranian mining companies passed 28,6 million tons during the first seven months of the current Iranian calendar year (from March 20 to October 20, 2024).
According to the report of public relations of IMIDRO, iron ore concentrate production of 10 major Iranian mining companies stood at 28,606,116 tons during the first seven months of the current Iranian calendar year (March 20-October 20, 2024), up 3 percent y/y.
Gol_e_Gohar Mining and Industrial Complex accounted for 7,263,291 tons of the total output, followed by Chadormalu Mining and Industrial Complex with 5,086,142 tons, Goharzamin iron ore Company with 4,688,359 tons, Sangan Mining Industries Complex with 2,571,012 tons, Middle East Mines and Mining Industries Development Holding Company with 2,550,001 tons, Iran Central iron ore Company with 1,972,627 tons, Opal Parsian Sangan with 1,687,677 tons, Sanabad Development Company with 1,557,164 tons, Saba Nour Mining and Industrial Development Company with 950,468 tons and Jalalabad iron ore Company with 279,375 tons.

Likewise, Iran’s major mining companies produced 15,415,325 tons of iron ore during the first seven months of the current Iranian calendar year (from March 20to October 20, 2024), indicating a 5 percent decrease compared with the corresponding period of the previous year.
