Aghajanlou Emphasized on Key Role of Private Sector to Achieving mine Sector’s Goals

According to the report of public relations of IMIDRO, considering the mine sector’s 13 percent growth in Seventh Development Plan, private sector has essential role for achieving this goal, Mohammad Aghajanlou stressed during a meeting with House of Industry, mine and Trade of Iranian Youth members.

Readiness of private sector for cooperation with IMIDRO is promising, as we believe that country’s economy will be developed by private sector synergy, he added.

Chairman of the executive board of IMIDRO noting the 3 challenges of IMIDRO for development of mine and mining industries sector including technology development, infrastructure and green industry, said: in order to solve these challenges participation of private sector is essential.

Process change and qualitative and quantitative development of mine and mining industries chains aimed to added value promotion and job creation through private sector’s collaboration and cooperation is a part of IMIDRO’s plan, Aghajanlou continued.

As intelligence is one of the main IMIDRO’s programs in order to improve the quality of processes, so desirable but not enough actions have been conducted in this regard. Furthermore, IMIDRO has no credit limitations and will provide all necessary costs in order to promote the research sector, he declared.

Private sector participation in exploration projects

Noting the exploration development as essential and fundamental actions in IMIDRO, Aghajanlou expressed: due to complex bureaucracy which resulting to length of conducting the whole exploration process by government, so the participation of private sector is essential in this field.

He added: spending in exploration sector is an investment and the entrance of private sector companies to this sector will evolve the amount of exploratory reserves throughout the country.
