A memorandum of understanding between Imidro and North Khorasan was inked
According to the Public Relations of Imidro, a memorandum of understanding was signed and exchanged between Mohammad Aghajanlou, Deputy Minister of Industry, Mine &Trade and Chairman of the Executive Board of Directors of Imidro, and Bahman Nouri, Governor of North Khorasan with the aim of activating the mining capabilities and mineral industries of North Khorasan province last day.
In this ceremony, Aghajanlou while recounting the exploration potentials of the province, stated: According to the existing capacities, including the discovery certificate and exploration license, IMIDRO will make investments in the field of mining exploration.
Stating that Imidro will support the establishment of mineral processing units, Aghajanlou added: "Activating small mines, developing processing units, and helping to grow value-added in the province are among the programs that are on the agenda of this organization in North Khorasan."
Bahman Nouri, the governor of North Khorasan, while pointing the economic capacities of the province, stated: "Creating suitable conditions to grow the activity of the mining units as well as investment in order to create and grow added value, will help remarkably the development of the province and increase employment."
He continued: So far, 40% of the economic activities of the province was related to the field of agriculture, but due to the mineral reserves and the diversity of some valuable mineral materials, strengthening of the mining position in this province can be observed.
At the end of the ceremony, a memorandum of understanding on bilateral cooperation was exchanged between Mohammad Aghajanlou, Chairman of the Executive Board of Imidro, and Bahman Nouri, Governor of North Khorasan. This memorandum of understanding was inked by the two sides in order to achieve the goals of President Dr. Masoud Pezeshkian’s second visit to North Khorasan Province.
