Over the past year, IMIDRO has contracted thirty -eight research and technology projects with universities, research centers, and knowledge-based companies and some of them are in the final stages.

The mentioned research projects are in the field of upgrading mineral wastes, production of Synthesis gas for power plants, simulation and development of virtual reality technology due to improve the level of safety skills of mine employees, feasibility study of the establishment of a solar thermal power plant, design of a comprehensive intelligent platform for exploration studies along with intelligent integration of exploration data, and simulator training for excavator operators.‎
