The head of the Iranian Mineral Processing Research Center declared:

Knowledge-based companies played a special role in the international mineral processing Symposium in Iran, hosted by the Iranian Mineral Processing Research Center.

According to IMIDRO's public relations, Ziaeddin Pourkarimi, Head of the Iranian Mineral Processing Research Center, While Expressing the characteristics of the Second International Symposium on Mineral Processing and MIDRO’s Executive Board support for this event, declared:

"In this period, knowledge-based companies having a significant role in overcoming sanctions, found a great opportunity to present their capabilities."

He added: Usually large companies play a prominent role in mining and mineral industry events. However, in this symposium, "knowledge-based companies" were at the forefront of activities in this field, with large companies only playing a supporting role.

He continued, during the years of sanctions, knowledge-based companies, by manufacturing equipment and producing chemicals required for processing presented their capabilities.

Considering the presence of industrial and academic experts from Australia, South Africa, and Turkey, he stated: it is a sign of the effectiveness of this event and a significant number of these people, were Iranians residing in the mentioned countries who presented new Articles in the field of mineral processing.
