23% increase in the value of the mine & mining industries sector exports during the first month of 1404. (Iranian Calendar)
According to IMIDRO's public relations, in April of this year, 5,237,320 tons of various mine and mining industry products worth $844 million were exported.
This figure was 4,413,115 tons worth $688 million in the same period last year.
A comparison of the above-mentioned statistics indicates an increase of approximately 19% in the "tonnage" of exports.
The main exports during the first month of 1404 [Iranian calendar] were related to the production chain of 3 products, including: steel, aluminum and copper, amounting 3 million 427 thousand and 568 tons worth 651 million dollars, increasing 54 and 24 percent in terms of weight and value, respectively, compared to exports in the same period last year (2 million 222 thousand and 434 tons worth 527 million dollars).
The main exports in the month of Farvardin 1404[Iranian calendar] were the production chain of three products including steel, aluminum, and copper, totaling 3 million and 427 thousand and 568 tons valued 651 million dollars.
Compared to the exports in the same period last year (2 million and 222 thousand and 434 tons valued 527 million dollars), we can obvious 54% increase in weight and a 24% increase in value.
197% Increase in the Value of Imported Products
Imports in the mine & mineral industries sector in Farvardin 1404[Iranian calendar] amounted to 177,069 tons, valued at $763 million. In the same period last year, imports of these products were 188,677 tons, valued at $257 million, indicating a decrease of approximately 6% in tonnage and an increase of approximately 197% in the value of imports.
