Inauguration of 2 mining industry factories and commencement of the executive operation of a power transmission project / with the President's order the first titanium concentrate production factory starts operations
Kerman Province witnessed the inauguration of 2 mineral industry factories and the commencement of the executive operation of a power transmission project to the mines, with the presence of the Minister of Industry, Mine and Trade and the Chairman of the Executive Board of Directors of IMIDRO.
According to IMIDRO's public relations, Seyed Mohammad Atabak and Mohammad Aghajanlou traveled to Kerman province on Wednesday and held the ground-breaking ceremony of the power transmission line to Sardouyeh mines in Jiroft city.
The inauguration of the first private copper and zinc concentrate processing plant in the country in Sargaz Esfandaqeh (Jiroft County) was another program of the visit of the Minister of Industry, Mine and Trade and the Chairman of the Executive Board of Directors.
The president orders the Official Inauguration of kahnuj Titanium Concentrate Plant
The inauguration of the first kahnuj Titanium Concentrate Plant project, the third program of the Minister of Industry, Mine and Trade and the IMIDRO’s Chairman of the Board of Directors was carried out via video conference on Thursday morning (July 16th) by the president’s order.
The Kahnuj Titanium Plant, with an annual production capacity of 130,000 tons of concentrate, has directly and indirectly created jobs for 110 people.
Pezeshkian: The important advantage of the titanium factory is its proximity to the Persian Gulf and the railway
Masoud Pezeshkian, the President after issuing the decree for the opening of the factory via video conference declared: "One of the most desirable advantages of this factory and related mines is its proximity to the Persian Gulf and the railway."
Seyyed Mohammad Atabak, Minister of Industry, Mines and Trade, on the sidelines of the Kahnuj titanium concentrate production plant’s inauguration ceremony, noted:
"The products of the titanium factory can both create foreign exchange with added value in the region and the country, and therefore have a significant impact on improving the technical engineering status of the country's alloy steel production in the completion of the next phases."

Omid Emami, Deputy of Mines and Mining Industries of Imidro,regarding the Kahnouj titanium concentrate production plant stated:
The operation of this factory can be the basis for the production of titanium pigment, which is considered a supplier of pigment (white color), is one of the criteria for measuring the development of countries. He added: "In the second phase, we are supposed to achieve the production of pigment.
