Impasco moves towards a knowledge-based economy and renewable energy

According to IMIDRO's public relations, Touraj Zare, Managing Director of Iran Minerals Production and Supply Company (IMPASCO), congratulated journalists and appreciated their efforts to reflect the country's realities in a meeting with the media on the occasion of Journalist Day.

Regarding IMPASCO's new investment packages, he stated: This model can revolutionize mineral exploration by relying on technical knowledge, specialized human resources, and private sector participation.

New Investment Attraction Model

Regarding the Impasco's new model of investment packages, he noted: In this plan, the first investment call for 8 mining zones in West Azerbaijan with a value of 410 billion tomans has been issued.

Zare emphasized: This model, implemented for the first time in the country, includes making joint public-private companies and the transfer of exploration licenses to them, and provides the possibility of attracting small investors.

He continued: In case of being successful, 270 mineral packages with high investment value will be prepared by the end of the year.

Zare evaluated Impasco's performance in the first four months of the year positively and stated: Impasco's plan for the current year is 146,000 meters of drilling, we are 40% ahead of the set plan in 4 months.

He concluded by stressing the necessity of promoting safety culture in mines and establishing rescue and relief bases in coal regions, considering the reduction in mining accident statistics a positive sign.
