Aghajanlou emphasized on the importance of competition in the value chains of mine and mining industries

According to IMIDRO’s public relations, Mohammad Aghajanlu, speaking at the Steel Price Conference, clarified: countries that managed to connect the upstream and downstream of this sector and also complete the value chain, gained a higher position among competitors.
IMIDRO's Chairman of the Executive Board of Directors believes that achieving a value chain that fits the needs of an appropriate industrial strategy, should lead to the development of infrastructure, technological advancement, utilization of artificial intelligence, reliable energy, and proper marketing.
He took into account the lack of commitment to export as one of the challenging issues for Iranian companies and stated that the existence of problems in energy supply, the absence of necessary infrastructure, changes in regulations, etc, has not resulted in a consistent commitment of export markets.
‎Aghajanlou called the issue of governance in this direction vital and added: "The mechanism for determining tariffs and issuing licenses should be in a way that helps to fulfill the industrial development strategy and consider the market & demand both domestically and internationally.
He added: Team building in the economic sectors, exports, and also possessing senior expert consultants in laws and international affairs and market analysis, are components of success in the production and trade of mineral materials, we need to compete at a global level.
Training skilled experts, experienced managers in the economic and production sectors, and modern knowledge can significantly contribute to improving the conditions of mines and mining industries in our country.
