Record-high sales and profitability in Alumina’s history / Plan to inaugurate the “Alumina Iran” solar power plant
The Managing Director of Alumina Iran Company declared: in the first quarter of this year, the highest record of sales and profitability in Alumina’s history recorded.
According to IMIDRO's public relations, Hamidreza Badkoubeh, in a press conference, congratulated the Journalists’ Day and stated: the company's profit in this period reached 1,880 billion Tomans, showing 400 percent growth compared to the same period last year. This success is the result of the tireless efforts of all employees, from mine workers to engineers and managers of the complex.
50% growth in sales of special hydrate
The Managing Director of Alumina Iran Company, pointing out that Iran Alumina Company has joined the few producers of special hydrate in the world, noted: This company produced 1003 tons of special hydrate in the first 6 months of last year, and this amount rose by 50% to 1,500 tons in the second half.
He added: This company sold its special hydrate product for the first time in 1404 (Iranian Calendar) and the first shipment of this product amounted to 25 tons.
Two Inaugurates Soon
Badkoubeh regarding the company's development plans stated: The Tash bauxite mine will be reopened within the next 2 months, and the thickener unit will be launched in September. We have invited investors for the red mud and caustic soda projects.
He continued: For the access roads to the mines in Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad, we have hired a contractor as part of our social responsibility projects. Regarding water supply, considering the decline in groundwater levels, we are obliged to purchase wastewater from the city of Jajarm.
Inauguration of 4 Megawatts of Solar Power in September
Hamid Moradi, the manager of engineering, inspection, construction, self-sufficiency, and energy of the Jajarm Alumina Company, pointed out that the solar power plant construction plan is being carried out in 4 phases of 15 megawatts and the first phase of 15 megawatts is currently underway, and 4 megawatts of it will be launched by the last days of august.
He added: 90 MW is also planned with the construction of a thermal power plant.
