"Chadormalu" should focus on the strategy of maintaining resilience and product quality.
IMIDRO’s chairman of the executive board of Directors emphasized the need to set an appropriate strategy aimed at “preserving the resilience and product quality” of Chadormalu Mining and Industrial Company.
According to IMIDRO's public relations, Mohammad Aghajanlou, speaking at the performance monitoring meeting of "Chadormalu”, clarified: currently, the conditions for production, development, and exports are such that there is a need to define and implement an appropriate strategy to the current situation to preserve the company’s resilience and product quality.
The Deputy Minister of Industry, Mine, and Trade emphasized the need for more attention to exploration programs by Chadormalu and continued, "Carrying out and developing exploration activities in this complex is necessary to preserve and sustain operations."
Aghajanlou further called for accelerating the implementation and completion of ongoing mining and industrial projects in Chadormalu.
In another part of his remarks, deputy minister, referring to the situation of the steel industry in Iran, stated: "Now we have reached the target capacity in steel (crude steel), and we must focus on other areas such as copper and gold, which face greater demand in global markets, for activity and investment."
He added: before the implementation of some steel projects, including sheets, the domestic and foreign markets must be identified; otherwise, we will be forced to produce at low capacity and supply less than production capacity.
In this meeting, which was held with the presence of Farid Dehghani, Managing Director, and some of the Chadormalu's managers, the latest status of projects and the amount of investments were reviewed.
