.Fattahi: Taking advantage of guidance from Expert Consultants in Targeted Exploration

The IMIDRO’s exploration director stated: In the technical reviews &assessments conducted by IMIDRO and its subsidiaries to control and supervise the exploration process of areas with weak potential or of no ore discovery, valuable mineral reserves are being accessed.
According to IMIDRO's public relations, Ahmad Fattahi at the steering committee meeting for exploration in the provinces of West Azerbaijan and Yazd noted: , to approve or reject the results, "Steering committee meetings for exploration are held every 15 days at IMIDRO with the presence of expert exploration consultants to review the results of the operations of consulting engineers’ companies as executors of IMIDRO's exploration projects."
He added: "IMIDRO's capable consultants, with an impartial and precise expert view of the results presented by the consulting companies, determine the path for the continuation or termination of exploration activity on the scope of the exploration licenses in these meetings."
The head of IMIDRO’s exploration management, referring to successful outcomes achieved from technical reviews of exploration permits with weak potential or with no mineral discovery by consulting engineers, stated. At the Janja mine, despite the consultant’s recommendation to dismiss the presence of a deposit, the guidance and measures of the exploration steering committee led to the discovery of a deposit of hundreds of millions of tons.
He continued: in this meeting, one area in West Azerbaijan Province and two areas in Yazd Province were placed on the agenda for targeted exploration with the guidance and recommendations of IMIDRO’s exploration consultants.
