In the meeting to monitor the actions and programs of Kurdistan Steel Company/ Financial support for Kurdistan steel development projects

According to the IMIDRO’s public relations, Mohammad Aghajanlou stated in the meeting to monitor the actions and programs of Kurdistan Steel Company attended by Ardeshir Saad Mohammadi, the Managing Director of the Mines and Metals Development Investment Company (shareholder), and members of the board of directors of Kurdistan Steel Company stated: the Kurdistan steel development chain projects are among the national leading projects and their implementation is of great importance to IMIDRO.
While emphasizing on the sustainable financing of the development projects of Kurdistan Steel, added that among the strategies to achieve the goals of the seventh development program, launching development projects is of great importance, and IMIDRO is currently leading this important task.

Progress of sponge iron infrastructure projects in Bijar
During this meeting, the Managing Director of Mines and Metals Development Investment Company noted that financial support for the Kurdistan steel projects is underway and mentioned that the infrastructure for the sponge iron production plant in Bijar, such as water, gas, electricity, access roads, and data transmission lines, is progressing.
Ardashir Saad Mohammadi added that in the steelmaking project in Qorveh, over 40 percent of the basic engineering phase of the project has been achieved so far.
