Iron Concentrate Production by Major Companies/17% Increase

According to IMIDRO's public relations, the ten major iron ore producing companies (Gol Gohar, Chadormalu, Middle East Mines and Mineral Industries Development Holding Company, Sangan Mining Industries, Central Iron Ore Company of Iran, Gohar Zamin Iron Ore Company, Sanabad, Opal Parsian Sangan, Sabapour, and Jalalabad) produced 4,119,365 tons of concentrate in August.
This figure was 3,509,947 tons in the same period last year.
The amount of concentrate sent in August also reached 1,421,481 tons; a 20 percent increase compared to the same period last year. This number was 1,180,100 tons in August last year.
7% Increase in Iron Concentrate Production

During five months, major iron concentrate producers manufactured approximately 22,069,934 tons of concentrate from the beginning of Farvardin to the end of Mordad 1404. (Iranian calendar) This figure was 20,557,312 tons during the same period last year, showing a 7% increase.
During the first 5 months of this year, these companies shipped 8,231,370 tons of concentrate, marking a 19% rise. The amount of shipped concentrate during the same period last year was 6,901,066 tons.
