IMIDRO's solar power plant projects capacity reached 300 MW

The process of "construction of a 50 MW Fasa solar power plant in Fars province" is progressing rapidly and seriously, and is one step away from the issuance of a construction permit.

According to IMIDRO's public relations, in the latest attempts, following months of pursuit and coordination between IMIDRO and SATBA (Renewable Energy Organization) and other relevant bodies of the Ministry of Energy, the construction permit for this power plant is in the official issuance stage.
This project, which began at the start of the Iranian year 1404 with approval of IMIDRO’s Investment Committee, has witnessed a series of important actions in recent months, including the issuance of a public tender, evaluation of applicant companies, selection of a specialized consultant, and surveying of proposed lands.
With the issuance of the construction permit, the project's implementation path has entered a new and accelerated phase, and its execution will commence in the near future.
In this regard the executor of IMIDRO's solar power plant project noted:
In addition to supplying a part of the energy needs of the country's steel industries, this project will significantly contribute to the sustainable development of Fars province and the expansion of the use of clean energy.
Mohsen Fardafshari added: The capacity of IMIDRO's solar power plant projects is 300 megawatts, which is notable in the construction sites of the Lamerd and Kashan special economic zones, the Tabas coal complex, and Ghaenat Steel.
He added: With IMIDRO's guidance, more than 3,000 megawatts of renewable power plants are being implemented by the country's mine and mining industries companies.
This significant achievement shows IMIDRO's and the country's energy sector's serious decision to move towards a green economy and reduce dependence on fossil fuels.
