Emphasis on "development projects" and "activating mining zones" by IMIDRO / The importance of IMIDRO's role in achieving economic independence and increasing GDP

According to IMIDRO's public relations, Seyed Mohammad Atabak at the farewell ceremony of the former Chairman and the introduction of Mohammad-Masoud Samiei-Nejad as the new IMIDRO’s Chaiman of the Executive board of Directors emphasized the significant role of this organization in the development of mines and increasing the share of Gross Domestic Product (GDP) over the past two decades and noted: "In the new era, the Iranian Mines and Mining Industries Development and Renovation Organization needs an economic perspective in the implementation of development projects, prioritizing creation projects."

IMIDRO's Three Concurrent Roles

Atabak pointed out: IMIDRO is one of the few developmental organizations that has aggregated three roles—management, policymaking, and regulation—within its organizational structure. He added: IMIDRO has an integrative structure and specialized expert workforce, so through principled planning and mapping out the country’s future development path, and considering IMIDRO’s place in that roadmap, it can play a decisive role in achieving the objectives of higher-level policies.

At the end of the ceremony, the Minister of Industry, Mine and Trade, presented the decree of IMIDRO’s Chairman of the Executive Board of Directors to Mohammad Masoud Samiei Nejad, and also appreciated Mohammad Aghajanlou's services during his leadership of the organization by awarding him a plaque of honor.
