Samiei Nejad: IMPASCO should consider the eligibility of applicants in the mines assignment / Zare: Implementation and launching of 22 development projects with an investment of 3 billion Euros

According to IMIDRO's public relations, Mohammad Massoud Samiei Nejad, at the monitoring meeting of Iran Minerals Production and Supply Company's measures, which was held with the presence of deputies and managers of IMIDRO and IMPASCO, noted: This company, by reviewing the qualifications and capabilities of applicants, should facilitate optimal management of the country’s mineral resources.

He emphasized: In addition to examining the investor's eligibility, IMPASCO should carefully monitor the performance of investors in all stages of the contract implementation, because this continuous monitoring will create transparency and appropriate productivity in the mine and mining industries sector.
Samiei Nejad, stating that the exploration risk for the private sector should be reduced in the assignment of exploration licenses, added, providing the necessary services and guarantees through the Mineral Activities Investment Insurance Fund (a subsidiary of IMIDRO) is an approach that IMPASCO should consider in this regard.
The Deputy Minister of Industry, Mine and Trade further referred to the restructuring of the expert team and the strengthening of the technical staff of mining companies, calling it a factor for upgrading affairs in this field.

22 Development Projects/ Implementation and launching
In continuation of the meeting, the Managing Director of Iran Minerals Production and Supply Company declared: Currently, the implementation and launching of 22 development projects of IMIDRO and IMPASCO, with a total investment of 3 billion euros, is under consideration.
Tooraj Zare added: These projects have created employment opportunities for 15,000 people in different parts of the country.
He continued: Currently, this company is following its programs by managing 20 complexes and six companies in 26 provinces, which include the production of 80 million tons of mineral materials.
The Managing Director of Iran Minerals Production and Supply Company announced: The developmental performance has led to a 38-fold increase in income compared to the year 1394 (Iranian calendar).
