First National Data-Based Exploration Platform to be Unveiled

According to IMIDRO's public relations, IMIDRO's Exploration Manager stated: The project to
create IMIDRO's intelligent exploration data processing system started in 1403 (Iranian
Calendar) by a domestic knowledge-based company to technologically develop the exploration
process, with the focus on exploration management, cooperation of research and technology
management, and supervision of IMIDRO's smartization management.
Ahmad Fattahi added: In this system, based on AI, all exploration data is "pre-processed" and
"processed" by intelligent algorithms with appropriate speed and efficiency, and finally,
exploration information layers are produced. After preparing the information layers, they are
integrated into the mentioned system, and the output is presented as two-dimensional or
three-dimensional maps.
IMIDRO's Exploration manager noted: The desired output is available to the user, so that before
a new exploration phase, the integrated information layers- interpreted and analyzed with the
help of experts- will determine the exploration roadmap for zones and areas.
Fattahi, pointing out:
In the implementation of the intelligent exploration process project, the first step is to collect
previous data and information, standardize and study them to create a comprehensive view of
the study area. Accordingly, efforts have been made to provide the information layers required
by this system, including aerial photos, satellite images, and geological-topographic maps
prepared in various scales.
He continued: Other information required by the mentioned system includes remote sensing
study maps, geophysical study maps, geochemical studies, alterations, information, and results
of field visits such as geographical coordinates of sample collection, field images, and
information related to structural surveys of the area.
IMIDRO’s exploration manager declared: Information and results from all exploration drillings
can be uploaded into the mentioned system.
