Steel Import Tariffs to Rise

According to the report of the public relations of IMIDRO, Mehdi Karbasian explained the performed actions related to rising tariffs on steel import and said that last week the final session of determination of the import tariffs in the next Iranian year (20 March 2016 to 20 March 2017) attended by Industry, Mine and Trade Minister, special delegations of other Ministries and organizations such as Head of Customs was held.In this meeting the table of the import tariffs was finalized.

This import tariffs will be discussed in the government’s next session. In the said before table prediction of modification of steel import tariffs is proposed which will be ratified after government’s verification, he added.
