According to the report of public relations of IMIDRO, Iranian Steel Producers Association announced that country’s steel producer firms during the last Iranian year (ended 19 March) produced 16 million and 708 thousand tons crude steel which decreased 0.57 percent compared to the preceding year(18 million and 805 thousand tons ).
Also, during the mentioned period 15 million and 284 thousand tons steel products (Girder, Rebar, Steel sheets, other steel products) were produced.
Regarding to the weak demand of the market, steel producers (ended20 March2015) reduced their production about 7 percent compared to the preceding year.
In the last month of the preceding year(started on 20February) steel producer firms produced 1million and 337 thousand tons crude steel and 1million and 237 thousand tons steel products which compared to the same time of the preceding year increased 1.2 percent and decreased 2 percent respectively.
