According to the report of public relations of IMIDRO, the said above project launched its production in last Friday. In 11th government as a result of uninterrupted follow up by IMIDRO and 65% participation of Mobarakeh Steel Complex, SDSCO’s DRI Plant is ready for inauguration, Mehdi Karbasian said.
IMIDRO’s collaborative model which has been started 3 years ago with participation of private sector resulted in mobility of provincial steel projects, he added.
This project was deactivate due to the problems such as financing, lack of credits and infrastructure affairs but IMIDRO succeeded to reactivated SDSCO’s DRI and other provincial projects by utilization of collaborative model in 2014,Karbasian said.
“ We started negotiations for establishment of rolling plant then SDSCO in addition to steelmaking and DRI plant will has rolling production line”, he announced.
