According to the report of Public relations of IMIDRO, since Iranian year 1393(started March 2014), IMIDRO based on new strategies by cooperation with private sector launched and operated 28 projects which led to 4600 direct and 6200 indirect employment.
Moreover, first pelletizing plant with production capacity of 5 million tonnes per year in eastern part of Iran in Sangan mining complex were inaugurated in July 2017.
Considerable share of last year
It’s considerable that about 12 projects (equal to 43%) of these projects were launched during the last Iranian year (ended March 21, 2017).
Also, 8 projects (equal to 28.5%) were launched in Iranian year1394 (March2015-March2016)
Share of Iranian year 1393 were 7 projects (about 25 percent of inaugurations).
Some of these projects were second phase of Persian Gulf Special Economic Zone jetty, Khatoon abab copper refinery, Khur and Biabanak Potash, Zarand tar refinery and coking, copper concentrate production, 8 infrastructure projects, Sefidabeh antimony and Sefid dasht DRI unit.
Also, Savadkuh coal washing plant and Khorasan Steel pelletizing plant were inaugurated in March and August 2017,respectively.
