According to the report of Public relations of IMIDRO, during this period, Iran exported over26 million tonnes with export value of 3.6 billion dollars. Total export value of last Iranian year (ended 20 March2017), reached 7 billion dollars.
In first five months of the current Iranian year (21March to 22 August), export value of zinc and aluminum chain, titan chain, iron ore and other types of ores increased 115percent, 46percent, 46 percent, 42percent respectively.
Likewise, during the above period, aluminum chain export volume was 154 thousand tonnes, zinc chain 91 thousands and 500 tonnes, iron ore 7.3 million tonnes and other types of ores 2.8 million tonnes.
Also, total steel chain export volume in first five months of current Iranian year was4.1 million tonnes with export value of 1.4 billion dollars, indicating 13 percent decrease compared to the corresponding period of last year.
Furthermore, copper chain export volume was 304 thousand tonnes with export value of 303 million dollars marking a 30percent drop compared to the same period of the last year.
