According to the report of public relations of IMIDRO, 8 major Iranian steelmakers produced 11 million and 223 thousand and 10 tons steel ingot in first eight months of the current Iranian year (March21-November21).
During this period, Mobarakeh steel companies (Mobarakeh, Hormozgan and Saba) produced 5 million and 645 thousand and 824 tons steel ingot.
steel ingot production of other steelmakers are as follow: Khuzestan steel with 2 million and 501 thousand and 662 tons, Isfahan steel with one million and 524 thousand and 561 tons, South Kaveh steel with 545 thousand and 465 tons, Khorasan steel with 498 thousand and 786 tons, Iran Alloy steel with 279 thousand and 97 tons, Chadormalu company with 190 thousand and 566 tons and National Industrial steel Group with 37 thousand and 49 tons steel ingot production.
Based on the report, during the mentioned period 8 major steelmakers produced 7 million and 9 thousand and 301 tons steel products include rebar, coil, pipe, width sheet, galvanized sheet etc, indicating a 5 percent growth compared with the same time of the last year.
