According to the report of public relations of IMIDRO, during the period under review, Sarcheshmeh Copper Complex, Sungun Copper Complex and Miduk Copper Company, as the subsidiaries of National Iranian Copper Industries Company, produced 213,072 tonnes of copper concentrate registering a 10 percent rise YOY.
During the first two-month of current Iranian year, Sarcheshmeh Copper Complex and Miduk Copper Company produced 45,274 tonnes of copper anode and 33,472 tonnes of copper cathode indicating a 39 percent and 28 percent growth respectively.
During the mentioned period, Sarcheshmeh Copper Complex’s molybdenum concentrate production stood at 754tonnes, down 38% YOY.
While during the months under review, molybdenum concentrate production of Miduk Copper Company stood at 355 tonnes, growing 37%YOY.
The three companies’ sulfide copper ore extraction increased 8% YOY to 9.564 million tonnes.
