According to the report of Public relations of IMIDRO, the nine major Iranian steelmakers include Khuzestan Steel Company, Mobarakeh Steel Company, Esfahan Steel Mill, Hormozgan Steel Company, Iran Steel Alloy, Khorasan Steel Company, Azerbaijan Steel, SKS and Oxin Steel exported 838,974 tons of Steel including 577,596 tons of Steel ingots(such as Billet, slab, bloom).
Exports of finished Steel products (rebar, width sheet, coil, etc.,) during the period under review, stood at 261,378 tons.
During the second month of the current fiscal year, sponge iron exports stood at 20 thousand tons.
Steel exports of these companies during the first two months of the current Iranian year standing at an aggregate of one million and 249,918 tons, growing 25%YOY.
During the two-month period exports of Steel ingot and finished Steel products stood at 891,886 tons and 358, 32 tons respectively.
Moreover, Iran exported 30 thousand tons of sponge iron in two months (21 March, 2018, 21 May).
