According to the report of public relations of IMIDRO, major Iranian mining companies produced 11, 223, 512 tonnes of iron Ore concentrates during the first three month of the current Iranian year(March21_June21) indicating a 20 percent growth YOY. Gol_e_gohar Mining and Industrial Complex accounted for 4,392,106 tonnes of the total output, followed by Chadormalu Mining and Industrial Complex with 2,202,650 tonnes, Iran Central Iron Ore Company with 1,377,347tonnes, Middle East Mines and Mining Industries Development Holding Company with 1,315,608tonnes, Goharzamin Iron Ore Company with 1,108,237tonnes, Opal Parsian Sangan with 659,392tonnes and Jalal Abad Iron Ore Company with168, 172 tonnes.
Granulated iron ore output up 22%
Iran’s five major granulated iron ore production companies had a total production of 1,436,111tonnes of granulated iron ore in the first quarter of the current Iranian year(started march21,2018), registering a 22 percent growth YOY.
Sangan Iron Ore Complex has the lion share with 601,663tonnes followed by Iran Central Iron Ore Company with 403,680tonnes, Iran Central Plateau Iron Ore Company with 259,964tonnes, Chadormalu Mining and Industrial Complex with 119,664tonnes and Mishdovan Iron Ore Company with 51,140 tonnes.
