Aluminum Output Up 7% in 7 Months

According to the report of public relations of IMIDRO, Iran’s three major aluminum producers produced an aggregate of 208,633 tons of aluminum in first seven month of the current Iranian year, registering a 7% growth compared with the corresponding period of the last year.

During the period under review, IRALCO had the lion’s share with103, 166 tons followed by Hormoz Aluminum Company with 64,477 tons and Almahdi Aluminum Company with 40,990 tons.

Iran Alumina Company produced 441,799 tons of bauxite and 237,483 tons of aluminum hydrate in first seven month of the current Iranian year (started 21March 2018).

Likewise, Iran Alumina Company produced 139,514 tons of alumina powder and 80,998 tons of lime during the seven-month period.
