According to the report of public relations of IMIDRO, aluminum output of three major Iranian aluminum producers stood at 231,031 tons in first eight month of the current Iranian year, indicating a 3.2% growth compared with the corresponding period of previous year.
During the period under review, IRALCO had the lion’s share with 117,667 tons followed by Hormoz Aluminum Company with 69,074 tons and Almahdi Aluminum Company with 44,290 tons.
During an eight-month period Iran Alumina Company produced 485,559 tons of bauxite and 159,024 tons of alumina powder.
Likewise, Iran Alumina Company produced 270,649 tons of aluminum hydrate and 88,776 tons of lime during the eight-month period (started21 March 2018).
