According to the report of Public Relations of IMIDRO, Gol_e_Gohar Mining and Industrial Complex accounted for 4,238,596 tons of the total output, followed by Chadormalu Mining and Industrial Complex with 2,621,347 tons, Middle East Mines and Mining Industries Development Holding Company with 1,393,135 tons, Iran Central iron ore Company with 1,247,005 tons, Goharzamin iron ore Company with 1,147,447 tons, Opal Parsian Sangan with754,635 tons, National Mining and Industrial Development Company with 509,065 tons, Saba Nour Mining and Industrial Development Company with 172,935 tons and Jalalabad iron ore company with 123,248 tons.
Granulated iron ore production fell 35%
During the period under review, granulated iron ore production of Iran’s five major mining companies stood at 1,205,735 tons to register a 35 percent decrease YOY.
Iran Central Plateau iron ore Company had the lion’ share with 286,601 tons followed by Sangan iron ore Complex with 182,153 tons, Saba Nour Mining and Industrial Development Company with 416,621 tons, Iran Central iron ore Company with 216,360 tons and Chadormalu Mining and Industrial Complex with 104,000 tons.
