IMIDRO’s Coal Extraction Up 11%

According to the report of public relations of IMIDRO, coal extraction of Tabas Coal Company and Central Alborz Coal Company (IMIDRO’s subsidiaries) stood at 474,202 tons during the first quarter of current Iranian year(March21-June21, 2019), indicating an 11 percent rise compared with the corresponding period of the previous year.

Likewise, during the period under review, Tabas Coal Company extracted 442,569 tons of coal followed by Central Alborz Coal Company with 31,633 tons.

Moreover, during the first quarter of current Iranian year (March21-June21, 2019), these two companies produced 170,470 tons of coal concentrate, up 1% YOY.

During this period, coal concentrate production of Tabas Coal Company stood at 146,226 tons whereas Central Alborz Coal Company produced 24, 244 tons of coal concentrate.
