According to the report of Public Relations of IMIDRO, Iranian steelmakers produced 22.873 million tons of crude steel in the first ten-month of the current Iranian year (March21, 2019- Jan20, 2020), registering an 11% rise compared with last year’s corresponding period.
Likewise, Iranian steelmakers produced an aggregate of 16,595,000 tons of steel products in the first ten-month.
During the period under review, Iranian mining companies produced a total of 23,687,000 tons of DRI to register an 8% increase compared to the same period of previous year.
Moreover, Iran’s iron ore concentrate production stood at 39,342,000 tons in the first 10 months of the current Iranian year, registering a 3 percent growth YOY.
Also, during the mentioned period, Iran produced 34,368,000 tons of pellet indicating a 2 percent decrease compared to the same time of the last year.
