According to the report of public relations of IMIDRO, Iran’s four major aluminum producers, produced an aggregate of 86,216 tons of aluminum ingot during the first two months of the current Iranian year(March21_May22, 2021), indicating a 33% growth compared with the corresponding period of the last year.
In this period, IRALCO had the lion’s share with 30,278 tons, followed by Almahdi with 30,129 tons, SALCO with 19,664 tons and Iran Alumina Company with 6, 145 tons.
During the period under review, Iran Alumina Company produced 38,160 tons of alumina powder, registering an 8 percent rise compared with the corresponding period of the past year.
Likewise, the company’s bauxite production during the first two months of the current Iranian year (March21_May22, 2021) stood at 169,118 tons, indicating a 52 percent growth YOY.
