According to the report of public relations of IMIDRO, Iran exported 2,528,000 tonnes of steel ingot (billet, bloom and slab) during the first four months of the current year (March20-June21, 2021) indicating a 52 percent rise compared with the corresponding period of the last year.
Meanwhile, steel products’ export stood at 1,163,000 tonnes during the first four months of the current Iranian year (March20-June21, 2021) registering 104 percent growth YoY.
In this period, Iran exported 415,000 tonnes of DRI indicating a 569 percent rise compared with the same period of the last year.

During the first four months of the current Iranian year, Iran imported 1000 tonnes of steel ingot (same as the corresponding period of the last year) and 268,000 tonnes of steel products (down 4 percent YoY).
