According to the report of public relations of IMIDRO, Iranian steelmakers exported over 2,178,000 tons of steel products(girder, rebar, sheets, etc.) during the first eight months of the current Iranian calendar year (March21-November21, 2021), indicating 30 percent growth compared with the corresponding period of the last year.
During the period under review, the export of crude steel (slab, billet, bloom) increased 27 percent YOY. The figure of the corresponding period was3,787,000 tons.
DRI Export Rises 105%
Likewise, Iran exported 827,000 tons of DRI during the first eight months of the current Iranian calendar year (March21- November 21, 2021),indicating 105 percent growth YOY.
