According to the report of public relations of IMIDRO, the latest report of International Copper Study Group (ICSG) shows that global copper mines production stood at 19, 243, 000 tons during the first eleven months of 2021, up 2.4% YOY.
During this period, copper mines of Americas produced 10,219,500 tons of copper, Asia about 4,061,600 tons, Africa mines produced 2,397,900 tons, Europe 1,717,800 tons and Oceania produced 845,800 tons of copper respectively.
Global Copper Mines Capacity Grows %4.3
During the period under review, Global Copper mines capacity stood at 23, 754,000 tons registering a %4.3 growth compared with the corresponding period of the year before.
World Refined Copper Production Rise %1.3
Global copper producers during the first eleven months of 2021, produced 22,692,000 tons of refined copper, up 1.3 percent YOY.
Likewise, refined copper production capacity of global smelters stood at 27,571,000 tons during the first eleven month of the last year, rise 1.1 percent YOY.
