According to the report of Public Relations of IMIDRO, Iron Ore Concentrate production of 10 major Iranian mining companies stood at 42,835,030 tons during the first ten months of the current Iranian year(from March 21,2021 to January 20, 2022), up 3 percent YOY.
Gol_e_Gohar Mining and Industrial Complex accounted for 13,901,385 tons of the total output, followed by Chadormalu Mining and Industrial Complex with 10,106,894 tons, Middle East Mines and Mining Industries Development Holding Company with 5,047,565 tons, Goharzamin Iron Ore Company with 3,921,617 tons, Iran Central Iron Ore Company with 3,278,584 tons, Sanabad Development Company with 2,033,630 tons, Opal Parsian Sangan with 1,971,212 tons, Sangan Mining Industries Company with 1,154,560 tons, Saba Nour Mining and Industrial Development Company with 1,093,957 tons and Jalalabad Iron ore Company with 325,626 tons.
These companies had a total production of 4,170,722 tons of Iron Ore Concentrate in the tenth month of the current Iranian calendar year known as Day (ended January20, 2022), indicating nearly 2 percent growth YOY.
Production of Granulated Iron Ore Surge 68%
Meanwhile, Iran’s major mining companies produced 1,464,930 tons of granulated Iron ore during the first ten months of the current Iranian calendar year (from March 21,2021 to January 20, 2022),registering a 68 percent rise compared with the corresponding period of the last year.
