According to the report of public relations of IMIDRO, 9 major Iranian iron ore companies produced 12,782,173 tons of pellet during the first four months of the current Iranian calendar year (March21-July22, 2022), indicating a 7 percent rise compared with the corresponding period of the previous year.
Gol-e-Gohar Mining and Industrial Complex had the lion’s share with 3,686,521 tons of pellet production, followed by Middle East Mines and Mining Industries Development Company with 2,391,572 tons, Sangan Iron Ore Complex with 1,587,284tons, Chadormalu Minig and Industrial Company with 1,185,640tons, Central Iron Ore Complex with 1,091,051 tons, Goharzamin Company with 1,104,050 tons, Opal Parsian Sangan with 1,179,763 tons, Sanabad Mining and Industrial Development Company with 391,573 tons and Saba Nour with 164,719 tons.
Likewise, local pellet dispatch of these companies stood at 4,940,579 tons during the first four months of the current Iranian calendar year (March21-July22,2022).
