Iran produced 320000 Tons of aluminum Ingot in H1

According to the report of public relations of IMIDRO, aluminum ingot production of 4 major Iranian aluminum companies stood at 318,091 tons during the first six months of the current Iranian calendar year (March21-September 22, 2022), indicating a 23 percent growth YOY.

During the period under review, SALCO has the lion’s share with 137,351 tons of aluminum ingot production followed by IRALCO with 88,111 tons, ALMAHDI with 74,543 tons and Iran Alumina Company with 18,086 tons.

Alumina Powder Output Up 2%

Moreover, Iran Alumina Company produced 118,845 tons of alumina powder during the first six months of current Iranian calendar year (March21-September22, 2022), indicating 2 percent increase compared with the corresponding period of the last year.

Likewise, during the period under review, the company’s bauxite production stood at 261,009 tons.
