According to the report of Public Relations of IMIDRO, Iran’s crude steel production during the first 11 months of current year stood at 27.9 Mt, indicating a %8.5 growth compared with the corresponding period of the last year, WSA reported. Meanwhile, steel output of Iran during November 2022 were 2.9 Mt, up 3.9 percent YOY.
Also, World Steel Association report shows that global steel output during the first 11 months of the current year stood at 1,691.4 Mt, indicating a %3.7 decrease compared with the same period of the year before.
During November 2022, 64 steel producing countries produced 139.1 Mt of crude steel, registering 2.6 percent decrease compared with the November 2021, WSA announced.
During this eleven-month period, China with 935.1 Mt crude steel output, India with 114.2 Mt, Japan with 82.3 Mt, United States with 74.4 Mt and Russia with 65.9 Mt respectively were the world’s top 5 steel producing countries. Meanwhile, Iran still is the 10th biggest steel producer country in the world, WSA reported.
