According to the report of public relations of IMIDRO, aluminum ingot output of four major Iranian aluminum companies stood at 112,767 tons during the first two months of the current Iranian calendar year (March21-May21, 2023), registering a 2 percent decrease YOY.
During the period under review, SALCO has the lion’s share with 49,220 tons of aluminum ingot production followed by IRALCO with 31,067 tons, ALMAHDI with 26,155 tons and Iran Alumina Company with 6,325 tons.
Alumina Powder Production
Furthermore, Iran Alumina Company produced an aggregate of 40,282 tons alumina powder during the first two months of current Iranian calendar year (March21-May 21, 2023), down 5% YOY.
During this period, the company’s bauxite production stood at 83,268 tons.
