Iran Produced over 218000 Tons of Aluminum Ingots in 4 months

According to the report of public relations of IMIDRO, Aluminum ingot production of four major Iranian Aluminum companies stood at 218,532 tons during the first 4 months of the current Iranian calendar year (March21 to July22, 2023), indicating a 2 percent decrease YOY.

During this period, SALCO has the lion’s share with 97,124 tons of Aluminum ingot production followed by IRALCO with 58,811 tons, ALMAHDI with 50,074 tons and Iran Alumina Company with 12,523 tons.

Alumina powder output rises

likewise, Iran Alumina Company produced an aggregate of 82,548 tons of alumina powder during the first 4 months of current Iranian calendar year (March21-July22, 2023), up 2% YOY.

during the period under review, the company’s bauxite production stood at 170,973 tons.
